Meet the Team
Stephen C. Hale, DDS
“I first joined the dental world in 1983, and I have been caring for patients in the Texas City community since 1994. With decades of experience under my belt, I certainly know plenty about helping smiles become happier and healthier!” When he isn’t practicing dentistry, one of Dr. Hale’s biggest passions is gardening – it’s his sanctuary! He loves roses, geraniums, plumeria, bougainvillea, azaleas, and the general beauty of nature. He even has a peaceful koi pond. Other hobbies include skiing (just blue and green slopes – definitely no black), scuba diving, and hiking in the mountains. He is currently picking up tennis again and loves golfing (although he may or may not be very good at it). Dr. Hale is married to his beautiful wife, Marie. They first met in high school and have been inseparable since! They have an adult son named Alex together.
Alyson L. Nguyen, DDS
Dr. Nguyen and her husband, Nhan, have three children together - Benjamin, Noah, and Bethany. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Nguyen really enjoys traveling with her family, especially taking cruises because it allows them to visit multiple places in one trip. Her favorite cruise that her family has taken was an Alaskan cruise, and her favorite city so far to visit is Vancouver! Now that the kids are older and more seasoned travelers, they look forward to going overseas eventually. Volunteering is also an important part of Dr. Nguyen’s life. The family is active in their church, St. Bernadette Catholic Church, and regularly volunteers at their local food pantry. As for personal hobbies, Dr. Nguyen likes to decompress with a good book - especially romance books, self-help books, and memoirs. She tries to work out on a regular basis and regularly runs half marathons with her nephew and brother in different cities. She’s completed one full marathon and the Tough Mudder race, which was a blast! Her true guilty pleasures are playing Candy Crush and watching reality TV.
